Bette Midler

The words to this song are so powerful!

Some say love it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razer
that leaves your soul to blead

Some say love it is a hunger
an endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
and you it's only seed

It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed
that with the sun's love
in the spring
becomes the rose

With all due respect, please don't take this the wrong way. I don't mean any malicious intent. This is from one brother to another. I've visited your blog on occasion and sometimes you have some really insightful things to say. But from one brother to another... Please, please, please start using the spell check feature. People judge you by your grammar and spelling. They're lying if the say they don't. You've mentioned that you are professional and I would hate to think that this minor shortcoming would hold you back in that regard. Maybe no one else has told you but someone out here in blog land loves you enough to point it out. Again, best wishes and continued blessings.

None taken! I come back and read what I wrote and sometimes I'm confused.

Ok...so why is it that at this exact moment in reading this...the song is much more powerful in meaning versus actually hearing it?

Hmmmmm...

Thanks again 4 the moment. :)
